Before You Start

Make sure your board is smooth, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, wax, loose paint, or debris.

Install your wrap indoors or in a sheltered area when possible. Wind, dirt, and extreme temperatures can make installation more difficult.

Step 1: Flatten the Wrap

Unroll the wrap on a clean, flat surface. Turn it face down and gently roll it once in the opposite direction. This helps reduce the curl from shipping and makes the wrap easier to position.

Step 2: Check the Direction

Place the wrap face down and confirm which end belongs at the top of the board. The printed circle should line up with the hole in your cornhole board.

Step 3: Peel Back the Liner

Peel back about one to two inches of the paper liner from the front edge of the wrap. Fold and crease the liner underneath the wrap.

This exposes a small strip of adhesive that you can use to line everything up. Do not remove the entire liner at once.

Step 4: Position the Wrap

Turn the wrap face up and line the exposed adhesive edge with the front edge of the board.

Center the design from side to side. Once it is straight, gently press the exposed adhesive strip onto the board.

Step 5: Smooth From the Center Out

Use your hand or squeegee to press down the first section. Always work from the center toward the outside edges.

This helps push air out instead of trapping it beneath the vinyl.

Step 6: Apply the Rest of the Wrap

Lift the loose end of the wrap and roll it back over itself. Slowly peel away a few inches of the liner.

Hold the wrap slightly above the board with one hand. Use the squeegee with the other hand to press the vinyl down.

Work from the center outward using a smooth, side-to-side wave motion. Continue removing the liner a little at a time until the full wrap is applied.

Step 7: Fix Large Bubbles

If you notice a large bubble during installation, stop and carefully lift the vinyl back past the bubble.

Pull gently from side to side, then reapply the section by smoothing from the center outward.

Step 8: Release Small Bubbles

Small bubbles can sometimes remain after installation. Use the very tip of a sharp knife or pin to make one or two tiny punctures in the bubble.

Gently press the trapped air toward the opening. Avoid making long cuts in the vinyl.

Step 9: Trim the Outer Edges

Flip the board over. Use a sharp utility knife to trim the excess vinyl from the sides and back edge.

Let the wooden edge of the board act as your straightedge. Move slowly and keep the blade against the board for a clean cut.

Step 10: Cut Out the Hole

Flip the board face up and locate the inside edge of the hole beneath the vinyl.

Carefully insert the knife near the edge and trim around the circle. Use the wooden edge of the hole as your cutting guide.

Step 11: Press Down the Edges

Inspect the full board and press down every outside edge, along with the vinyl around the hole.

Run the squeegee around the edges one final time to make sure the wrap is firmly attached.

Removing the Entire Backing at Once
